Aspen Shores is a waterfront community located in East Wenatchee, Washington. It is on the Columbia River between Rock Island and Rocky Reach Dams. It is the site for our next house. The surrounding area is mostly agricultural - apples, peaches, pears and cherries. Across the river, in Wenatchee, are warehouses and packing plants, from which the fruit is shipped internationally. My grandmother lived in Wenatchee from the 1950's until she passed on in the 1970's.
